Magnesium glycinate (sometimes labelled magnesium bisglycinate) is magnesium chelated to two molecules of glycine, an amino acid. Chelation means the mineral is already bound to an organic molecule before you swallow it, which changes how it's absorbed compared to a plain mineral salt like magnesium oxide. It's sold as capsules, tablets or powder, most often marketed for evening use.
Magnesium's genuine, well-documented role in hundreds of enzymatic reactions gives any magnesium product inherent credibility.
